The Octopus Academy ukuleles are built for longevity and high-quality performance, with an improved production process ensuring excellent sound and finish. Features include a classical guitar-style bridge, geared tuning pegs for better pitch retention, and fully lined sidewalls for stability and sound projection. The edges and frets are carefully smoothed for a premium feel.
The series is designed to be accessible, with beginner chords printed on the box to help new players start quickly. Each ukulele comes with Aquila Nylgut® strings, known for superior tone and intonation, and a free carry case for protection. The soprano size, the most common ukulele type, measures 21 inches (53 cm).
